Savory Origin (previously known as Lim Luan Seng Foods Industries) was established in 1976 with a humble beginning in Lorong Ah Soo selling fresh coconuts, coconut leaves & freshly grated coconuts.
With the growing popularity of spicy Nonya Otah back then, Savory Origin ventured into Otah manufacturing and has grown to be probably the oldest and leading Halal Otah manufacturer since 1987 with the brand – 1st Grade Otah (now rebranded as Savory origin). We distribute island-wide to hawker centers, coffeeshops, bazaars, pasar malam, schools, F&B outlets, central kitchens, catering companies, BBQ distributors, bakeries, supermarkets, restaurants, hotels and homes.
