Sakura Cheese Tofu with Bruschetta Recipe
Ingredients:
For the Cheese Tofu:
- 200g Sakura cheese tofu
- Olive oil spray (optional, to help with crisping)
For the Bruschetta and Topping:
- 1 pc of baguette, slice into pcs of 20mm thickness
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 1 small red onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh basil leaves, chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Prepare the Bruschetta Topping:
- In a bowl, combine diced tomatoes, chopped onion, minced garlic, and basil.
- Drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar over the mixture.
- Season with salt and pepper, and toss to combine. Let the flavors blend while you prepare the tofu.
- Air-fry the Sakura Cheese Tofu and Baguette:
- Open the Sakura cheese tofu packaging and thaw for 10 minutes
- Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for 3 minutes.
- Lightly spray the Sakura cheese tofu and baguette slices with olive oil (optional for extra crispiness).
- Place the Sakura cheese tofu and baguette slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
- Air-fry at 180°C (350°F) for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
- Assemble the Dish:
- Arrange the air-fried Sakura cheese tofu on the baguette slices.
- Spoon the fresh bruschetta topping over each Sakura cheese tofu.
- Serve:
- Serve immediately as an appetizer or light snack, garnished with extra basil leaves if desired.
Using the air fryer makes the Sakura cheese tofu crispy without needing much oil, making this dish lighter but still flavorful!
